WovaPay for Android

Install it on the phone that receives your MTN or Telecel Mobile Money texts. It reads only those payment messages and sends them to your WovaPay account.

  1. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps.
  2. Open WovaPay and type the pairing code from the Phones page.
  3. Allow “Messages” when asked, so it can see the payment texts.
  4. If your phone saves battery aggressively, set WovaPay to “Unrestricted” so it keeps listening with the screen off.

Android may warn that the app is from outside the Play Store. That is expected for now — the app is signed by WovaPay and only needs permission to read your messages.
